Tracking budgeted hours and billed hours in Quickbooks

Can I track both budgeted hours and billed hours in Quickbooks?  Basically, I'd like to see a running total and comparison of the number of hours I billed on a particular project/client and the hours that have been budgeted so I can see how many hours I have left to bill.

Will this be part of the invoicing process or something outside of invoicing - meaning having to enter billed hours again somewhere else outside of the invoicing process?

Thanks.

I do not think you can budget hours.

To set up budgets, go to the Company menu, choose Planning & Budgeting, and then click on Budgets  (There are budgets and forecasts).

All budgets and forecasts must be account based and that does not include hours.

I do use both budgets and forecasts.

Does anybody know of an app that does a good job integrating actual hours and projected hours?  I don't need a timesheet app, just one that simply tracks hours and compares to budgeted hours.

You could export the budget or forecast report (accounts) and add rows to the bottom (new sheet to combine things) for the hours you want to track.
