Hi,

I had an incident on our Exchange server where a user could not send mails. All was left in the outbox.

Sorted this one out and solved the issue.

But, out of curiosity I would like to know why this happened. I have all the log files for this mailbox but am unable to find anything to read the .log file.

What tool is used ?
How is the best way to read these files ?

Thanks in advance

Regards

You can open Exchange log files using Routing Log Viewer from Exchange Management Console (EMC). Check this helpful http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb676429%28v=exchg.141%29.aspx

Close :)

I am only able to open the routing log.

The log I want to open is the encrypted log located in the users mailbox OU.

Sorry for not being specific.....
