wcf json/ajax

I just hope I can find a simple link I can download project that working in wcf and ajax/jquery. No database included. Just a simple wcf call by ajax.
I have been browsing for 2 days, and can't find one good/simple example that is working.

Please help if you know any. I look like there is alot of there but too many are not working and can't be downloaded.

Please be more specific. The sample in the link is implementing a very simple WCF method
public string GetData(int value)
    {
        return string.Format("You entered: {0}", value);
    }

If you need step by step (and you are using MVC 4 or up),  you could use WebApi. It is less complex than WCF when creating JSON based web services.
