Google Search Engine Not Working

Hello,

I have created as google search engine account and in the account it won't search ckhaupgrade.jadeddesigns.ca  (which is our test domain for our new site) but if i use the existing site.. www.ckha.on.ca it searches fine.     Plus it will search any of my other domains but will not sure ckhaupgrade.jadeddesigns.ca

Am i doing something wrong???

I suspect that Google is using the info that is in their databases already that was collected by their search bots and not actually doing a search on request.  If ckhaupgrade.jadeddesigns.ca has never been public and never been scanned by their search bot then Google would not have any info about it.

The existing site is www.ckha.on.ca...   and our new test website is at ckhaupgrade.jadeddesigns.ca      It won't return anything from the search on ckhaupgrade.jadeddesigns.ca test website.   So you are saying if I create an xml sitemap to google webmaster tools...   it will start showing up in the search?

Rich
Yes, it will... however, anything that is 'found' will have to be 're-found' when you make it the 'real' site because the domain name won't be exactly the same.  None of the search data will transfer over.
