Unable to apply apply XA650W2K8R2X64R04 to XenApp 6.5

When we attempt to apply this hotfix, we get the following error (see attached screenshot).XenApp internal error 2755

It appears to be looking for the Xenapp 6.5 base installer file.  i think that's what mps.msi is related to.  Perhaps extract the installer files into the same folder you are launching the rollup package from?

It mentions mps.msi in the notes for the rollup package, the context is different though, it doesn't indicate it will error.

Try to reboot the server and try. Make sure you have enough space and drive you where you installing roll up pack. Also its good to install the roll up pack 5 on your environment which is the latest one http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX141075

I tried mounted the XenApp 6.5 ISO with needed MSP file, but no dice. Also, I tried rebooting as well w/o success.

I will attempt to extract associated MSP into the dir where the installer is executed....

I resolved internally. I Identified c:\windows\installer to be corrupt, renamed/recreated
