Apply PowerPoint "Hide During Show" to all audio clips on all slides

In PowerPoint 2010 (on a Windows 7 computer), How do I apply the audio clip property "Hide During Show" (to hide the audio clip icon during slideshows) to all the audio clips in the presentation, on all slides, at once. (Not one slide at a time.)

Obviously I don't want to bother dragging the icon off the canvas on every slide either - unless it can be done on all slides at once.

I was hoping that the "Hide Media Controls" option on the Slide Show tab, which hides the play slider on all audio and video clips throughout the file, would maaaaaybe hide the sound icon as well, but no such luck.

There's no way to get that "Hide During Show" to apply to all sound clips from within the PPT interface. It can probably be done in code.

Hi dgrrr
I'm not familiar with the term canvas> dragging the icon off the canvas on every slide either<< could you elaborate for me :)
Only idea I have since the PPS is nolonger a master slide project but a saved PPS  any music/audio is heard from your computer speakers
use the ctrl +T to show the taskbar and mute the speakers on your system click the screen to continue
hindsight you just want to hide the audio clip?
I don't see an audio speaker clip in my slideshows? PPS? what is opening your slideshow wmp or a browser>
Is that something that is a personalised icon when the PPS was made?
PPS sent to me and played on my system have the little arrow stop play at the bottom left. No speaker icon?
I just rightclick the screen.
I did source this as I was curios as to what your talking about, seems to me that it can only be done in edit mode before it is saved?

Thanks folks. Just in case I haven't been clear -- my client used "insert audio > record audio" to add sound to each slide (instead of adding "narration" as you're supposed to. (Now on each page there is a little speaker icon in the center of the page. If you click it you get options to play it, trim it, etc.

Happily when I choose properties for the clip on each page, and instruct the clip to play automatically (not on "click"), then when I start a "slideshow", each slide displays for the length of the audio file as I originally intended (hurray microsoft!).  But I'll have to apply the command for the clip on each page to play "automatically" on each slide, as I will with the "hide during show" icon.  (So that ppl don't see the the little speaker in the center of the slide.)
