Office 365 Exchnage Licsenses

Hi hope someone can help

we have 5 365 Licenses with 5 exchange accounts, if we wanted to create another email address as say an alias and then forward that message onto one of the users that are Licenced is that possible or do we need to purchase a new License?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi,

Theoretically, we should be able to add about 200 aliases to an Office 365 account, since there isn’t any document saying that Microsoft restricts the maximum number of aliases we can add.

And I’ve tested it with my Office 365 accounts. I can add 200 aliases to my account without any problems.

But from the above given link we find that An Alias is an additional email address that uses the same inbox, contact list, and account settings as the primary alias. You can sign in to your account with any alias using the same password.   So, I think you don't have need to purchase a new licence.
