Exchange 2007 pop3 service

I have a annoying service problem, each time our mailserver restarts, the POP3 services are stopped and set to manual even if I set it on automatic.

unfortunately we use Cherwell crippleware that needs POP3 to function properly ;-(

I can't find a GPO or registry setting that forces this.
Does anyone know where to look for it or a registry "trick" to get it on automatic?

There is a setting which keeps the service in automatic delayed start. Place POP3 in that mode.

If this doesn't work, you could have a scheduled task, that'll check your POP3 service every 5minutes and if it isn't started, then it'll attempt to start it.
