I need to set up a bar graph on a web page. I need to pull data dynamicly from an .xls file. I have in the past used just simple jscharts.js to make bar graphs but its a manual process. Any way to make this automated?

All you need is a single pixel jpg and to make the chart bars by increasing the width and height accordingly. If you want multiple colours then make multiple single pixel images available. Automating reading a spreadsheet is impossible to my knowledge unless you run it server side.
