I have ans RDS 2012 server. It has been up and running fine for about a month, and is primarily used so users can access some PC's remotely. Suddenly when users login to RDWEB, the Connect to Remote PC link is missing. In IIS under Sites\Default Web Site\RDWeb\Pages and Application Settings in the middle pane under ASP.net. Show desktops is set to True. I don't understand how this can happen. Can anyone help please?

if nothing else turns up, try a system restore to a date it was ok, and watch the installed update (that can always be a cause)

I got this fixed. I just reset Show Desktops to false, restarted the Default website, then changed it back to true restarted the Default website again and the tab re-appeared.
