I am looking for the list of hotfixes and patches that are needed before running ADPREP /forestprep for 2012 Domain controller. WE are updating DCs from 2003 to 2012 R2

We use SCCM for pushing all the selective updates and I need the list of updates that we need to download for DCs before running ADPREP for 2012.

Thank you very much.

There are no specific updates that are required for a 2003 FFL/DFL when you are introducing a new 2012 domain controller. There are however things to consider/requirements that you need to do before introducing 2012 domain controller.

- You need to have 2003 FFL/DFL before introducing the 2012 DC into the environment
- Making sure that all of your replication and AD logs are clean

Also take a look at the below Active Directory Team Blog for upgrade considerations
Upgrade 2003 to 2012 Domain Controller
