Why won't 2 specific emails send to each other?

I service 2 companies. One is hosted with me at machighway.com - www.wildlifevets.com and the other is hosted by infinity focus - www.wildpharm.co.za. Both companies belong to the same group so IT services are shared.

emails within wildpharm can't send to each other. e.g. md@wildpharm can't send to finances@wildpharm
emails from wildlifevets can't send to wildpharm e.g. derik@wildlifevets can't send to md or finances@wildpharm
wildlifevets emails can send and receive from anyone else
wildpharm emails can send and receive from anyone else

here is the error message:

This is not my field of expertise but the companies need me to sort it out as soon as possible. i have full access to wildlifevets.com domain but not to wildpharm. what should i be checking for?

Update on the problem.

We ended up changing the POP and SMTP servers on each machine using email from wildpharm domain. Instead of using the domain name for mail.wildpharm we used the IP address of the domain. This seems to have enabled email between themselves and wildlifvets domain users. I don't think the real problem has been addressed. Still worried that there is a major fault in the system but at least the email issue is sorted out.
