Why won't 2 specific emails send to each other?

I service 2 companies. One is hosted with me at machighway.com - www.wildlifevets.com and the other is hosted by infinity focus - www.wildpharm.co.za. Both companies belong to the same group so IT services are shared.

emails within wildpharm can't send to each other. e.g. md@wildpharm can't send to finances@wildpharm
emails from wildlifevets can't send to wildpharm e.g. derik@wildlifevets can't send to md or finances@wildpharm
wildlifevets emails can send and receive from anyone else
wildpharm emails can send and receive from anyone else

here is the error message:

Sounds like the problem must be at wildpharm, and you just said you don't have full access to there.  That's gonna be a problem. They have to do most of the leg work.

 550-Verification failed for
 <cobus@wildlifevets.com>
 550-Unrouteable address
 550 Sender verify failed

Means a rule in their server system is deciding to bounce the mail. And sadly it could be a few things.  - It wants to accept your email ONLY if it's sent from the IP it expects (the mx server for wildlifevets.com, which is inbox.machighway.com    internet address = 184.172.132.10)
- or their DNS entries are messed up (for both wildpharm and wildlifevets).

Thanks Computer. I'll keep searching. Would it help if i added another MX server?

What is SQL Server and how does it work?

The purpose of this paper is to provide you background on SQL Server. It’s your self-study guide for learning fundamentals. It includes both the history of SQL and its technical basics. Concepts and definitions will form the solid foundation of your future DBA expertise.

You shouldn't take any action until more information from the other side clears up this issue. If the problem is mainly at the other side, things you do will make things worse (for you mostly). For instance, adding another MX, when that server actually isn't a real accepting server might mean you will miss real emails, since some mail servers will send to secondary MX servers, even though the first priority server is online (either by design or a bug, or temporary network issues).
You could send another email from your MX server though. If it goes through, you can ask the other side to loosen the rules for you, if it doesn't go through, their DNS system is probably messed up (probably manually doing things, like adding wrong wildlifevets.com entries in various configuration files)
But since they will still have the internal email problem, they will have a lot more work to do.

Will take your advice and ask them to recheck their side. Thanks again.

Update on the problem.

We ended up changing the POP and SMTP servers on each machine using email from wildpharm domain. Instead of using the domain name for mail.wildpharm we used the IP address of the domain. This seems to have enabled email between themselves and wildlifvets domain users. I don't think the real problem has been addressed. Still worried that there is a major fault in the system but at least the email issue is sorted out.
