How do  I extend the time out on Minicom

My minicom sessions drop after a certain period, how can I keep them open for 4 hours?

What is in the other end of minicom cable?

I launch Minicom from a Linux device into the console port of Cisco devices.  I'll double check the timeout on the Cisco console port, but I'm pretty sure it's set to longer than the Minicom stays active.  Get back to you soon.  thanks.

Gheist,  I set the console exec timeout to either infinite or 4 hours; that seemed to have been the problem.  I should have known better.....   Thanks for your insight.
