Hello fellow experts, this is the situation:
I have a customer who recently went from one email provider to google apps. They were configured to use IMAP on their email clients (mac mail and outlook). i setup a new imap account for the new google apps in their email clients so currently they have the old (which will be disconnected soon) and the new google apps one.
The question is this:
What is the most effective way to export the email settings (emails, contacts, calendar) from the old account to the new one? What i'm thinking in about doing is:
in outlook, use the export feature, create a .pst, import the pst in their new profile then have them move whatever emails they want to have replicated to their inbox folder.
in mac mail: don't know, i guess it has the same feature as outlook..
is my assumption correct of there's a more efficient way to go about this.
