I have to develop an app for MS Excel 2013. What do I need for that? Can I do that with Windows 7 and Visual Studio 2013 Professional?

What kind of application? An add-in? In this case, check http://emoreau.com/Entries/Articles/2010/06/Creating-Excel-Add-in-with-VBnet-or-C.aspx

I had a look at your article. That is not really what I am looking for. They want me to develop an MS Excel 2013 app. So that on the right hand side of MS Excel 2013 there is the pane, of the Microsoft store app, and that controls the data on the MS Excel sheet.

I would already be greatfull if I had a start of an app. I just don't know where to start.

Bye the way, I once lived in Montréal, nice city.
