Is it possible to turn on bitlocker for win7 from GPO instead of going into control panel-bitlocker. I have setup my gpo and nothing there says that it will turn on bitlocker.

Is there a way?

Only scripted or possibly via MBAM agents.
Scripted: as simple as this batch line
manage-bde on c:
(if a TPM is present and active and AD-Recoverykey-Backup is turned on by GPOs)
Or Powershell.
