Hello,

I have a server running sugarCRM, it's work fine, but when i try to load a languague pack.zip i have the 500 server error.

I found some comments talking about permisión issues. This:

any file in your public_html directory must be in 644 permissions and each file must be in 755 permissions in order to work correctly. This is simply due to the fact that our shared server run in a suPHP enviroment

i can't understand, any file in 644 and each file in 755? i don't know what exactly i have to do.

Anyway, i don't know if that is the reason of the problem. any ideas?

Regards

Can you post some lines of sugarcrm.log. ?
I am sure there are some errors giving you the right direction. Also try to post some lines of your apache-error-log, usually residing in:
/var/log/apache2 or /var/log/httpd
It sounds, that the rights of the directory you are uploading files doesn't have the correct permissions.

Hi,

Ok the problem was with the lengh of the archive to upload as follows:

[fcgid:warn] [pid 1938] [client xx.xx.xx.xx:2044] mod_fcgid: HTTP request length 132335 (so far) exceeds MaxRequestLen (131072)
You Must put this "FcgidMaxRequestLen 3000000" for instance or the number you desired in the vhost apache config file.

Note: if you are using ISPconfig just put the same rule under "sites-->domain-->option" in apache module

thx degenhardt you gime me the hints to solve the problem, sometimes i forgot the logs, rookie mistake. :-)
