How to export local outlook (pst) calendar to Office 365 Web App Calendar

We just deployed Office 365 for a client.  (5 users total) They have one user that has the main office calendar in Outlook 2013 (desktop version) on their computer.   We need to import that calendar into the Office 365 Web App Calendar for that user, so that we can share it out in the web app with groups.  When the user logs into https://outlook.office365.com the calendar is blank.  Can you assist with advice for exporting a local Outlook calendar into the web app calendar?

Easiest way to do this:

- Export the calendar contents in Outlook to an Outlook Data File (.PST file)
- Connect Outlook to the user's Office 365 account in a new profile
- Import the contents of the PST file into the new Office 365 profile

Thanks so much,
We did not create new profiles in the Mail control panel applet, we simply changed server information for this users pop/smtp settings and connected that way.  So you're suggesting we export existing mail to pst (including calendar/contacts), then remove the profile in the Mail applet, create a new profile then import the pst?
So this will will cause Outlook to sync calendar and contacts to the outlook web app?

No need to export everything, you can choose to export JUST the calendar to PST. If you need help with this then I can provide instructions (they're a bit long winded so I won't create them unless requested).

No need to delete the old profile, just create a new profile and set this profile as the default profile. I'm not a huge fan of deleting the old profile in these situations as you may find at some point that you'll need to access the old profile again to recover some data. You won't be able to do that if you delete the old profile.

That's correct, but you need to set up the mail profile to connect to Office 365 as an Exchange account. Setting it up as a POP account won't work for this scenario. Please see this article from Microsoft if you need help setting up the new profile: https://support.office.com/en-US/Article/Set-up-your-Office-365-for-business-or-other-Exchange-based-email-in-Outlook-6e27792a-9267-4aa4-8bb6-c84ef146101b?ui=en-US#__toc332372186

Got it, thanks!  Setting up the new profile seems to have been the ticket.
Appreciate the help!
