Hi fjkaykr11,

When You go to Google Analytics and click sing in/sign up If You are creating new account (while creating) there is an question "What would You like to track? And you click website, there is a simple steps - Account Name/Website Name/URL and etc.

Than, You will get a page "This is Your tracking code. Copy and paste it into the code of every page you want to track."
And You need to copy this, go to your site, log into it and paste it to pages You want to track. It is that simple. There is also PHP Implementation explained on same page, also Dynamic Content Implementation and info about it.  That is all You have to do, just follow instruction there where they say "Website tracking" and all bellow.

If there is any other question, please let me know.

Thanks,
D.

D thanks for the reply.  I am at the area where I add an account, it looks like the problem I am having is accepting the GA Terms of Service.  There is no button appearing to click accept (see attached screen shot).  I have tried this within multiple browsers including chrome and firefox (popup blocker turned off).  Any ideas?

Hi fjkaykr11,

I guess the button is there but Your browser is not showing it up, due to incompatibility with Your resolution. I would try changing the resolution on Your screen to at least 720p just to check if it is a problem with it, because the popup window is not fully showed on Your computer. I guess You are at laptop. Try from Desktop with full hd, or hd ready screen, or connect monitor to it.

See if You get the button with it.

Thanks,
D.

thanks again for the update, that's probably what it is.  Now when I try to access the account again I am able to login but I don't see the area to accept the TOS, This is frustrating because it happened before when I deleted my old account and created a new one with a different email address.  I am guessing that I still need to accept the TOS because I don't see the Admin button within GA in order to setup for tracking my website.

I am making some progress, i was able to get a tracking code with the tag manager and add it to my website.  I read that it could take a week for the statistics to show up in GA.  However, I am still not sure if everything is setup correctly since I don't see the TOS or Admin tab within GA.

Hi fjkaykr11,

Yes, that is right, it could take a while. For Admin tab, i don't know what could go wrong, it is simple as I told You. Can You provide a screenshot?

Thanks,
D.

Dejan, thanks for the reply.  Where is the admin tab usually found in GA? I am still not sure if I need to accept the TOS.  I can't seem to find that area either.

Hi fjkaykr11,

The admin tab is right here - Go on your browser, type in google analytics and then go to "sign in". After that You will get to this - Screenshot (Home page) and the "Admin" tab is right there.

Thanks,
D.

@Dejan, thanks for the info.  Attached is a screenshot of what I see in Google Analytics when I login.

I also added the tag code (file attached) to my index page last week but there is no data being populated in GA under the Data Analytics Dashboard

Hi fjkaykr11,

You are at first screenshot logged at google.com/settings/dashboard, that is not the actual tab of GA. You are going to a different URL, that is why You cannot find anything...
Go to this link Google Analytics Login Screen

Here I will provide You a number of screenshots (10) where You will be able to see every single step of GA sign up, and if You missed any of them, please go and recreate one for Your site.

Step 1Step 2Step 3Step 4Step 5Step 6Step 7Step 8Step 9Step 10
If You have any question please ask,

Thanks,
D.

This is very helpful.  I appreciate you doing all this.   I had already gone through this process before but when I got to the terms of service window there was no accept button but some how I was still able to continue setting up my account and adding the tracking code.  My concern is that I added the tracking code but since I didn't accept terms of service that it might not be fully activated.  I just can't to find the area where I could accept TOS.

I am redoing the account and now I see the TOS button (I just had to minimize the page). I didn't realize it would be easy to just deactivate and reactivate my account using the same email. Thanks again for all the help.
