Hi,

My email code for cakephp worked fine when I used gmail but not for this provider below.
I am not sure what to do as I have all the correct information.
The error get is timed-out

config/email.php
	public $gmail2 = array(
	'from' => array('info@aptutoring.com.au' => 'Aptutoring'),
	'host' => 'mail.ecentriconline.net',
       // 'port' => 2525,
         'port' => 465,
       'username' => 'XXX@ecentriconline.net',
        'password' => 'XXX',
        'transport' => 'Smtp'
    );
	  $Email = new CakeEmail();
                             $Email->config('gmail2');
                             $to=$item['Tutor']['email'];

                             $Email->from( array('info@aptutoring.com.au' => 'Aptutoring'));
                             $Email->to($to);
                             $Email->subject('Hello');

                             $Email->send($message);

Seems you use conflicting settings. Host suggest it isn't SSL (otherwise it should be prefixed with ssl://), but you use an SSL port nonetheless (465).
Please find out first if you want SSL or not, then fix it.
If yes, add ssl://, if no, change port to 25
