Sonicwall Global VPN client and Surface Pro 3

Looking for some advice….. I’m in charge of IT for my organization; I support about 60 users running Windows 7. I really want to jump from my Dell laptop to a Surface Pro 3. Quite often I VPN from home using Sonicwall global VPN client. There are other apps that I need to validate for Windows 8.1 pro but this VPN client is important. Has anyone had issues with the VPN client on Win 8.1 pro?

Also, I’m open to any comments you might have about the SP3, too;  good, bad, or indifferent. Thanks.

I use NCP Secure Entry on Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 (www.ncp-e.com). You need the newest build for Windows 8.1 (which will work on prior operating systems as well).

NCP Secure Entry works through double NAT arrangements (Hotels and the like) which is great for travel. The application is very robust. It works everywhere I go.

We now specify this for our clients and they are very happy with it.

Was looking for more specific information regarding the Sonicwall VPN client itself.

@CTmountainbiker  - Thanks, I think you will find NCP to be a superior client for all modern operating systems.
