SharePoint 2013 Column Calculation

I am trying to calculate years of experience in the calculated column.  I would have someone enter in the year they started working and then calculate it to today.   WHat is the formula for this and do I need 2 columns?

this is not possible as the TODAY function is not allowed in calculated column formulas.
And this is by design as the value of the calculated field is persisted in the content database, therefore a re-calculation is only run when the list item changes.
There are two workarounds:
If you just need the value in a list view, you might use client script to virtually calculate the difference and update an empty field in  the list view (or virtually create an additional column) OR you use the client object model and generate a table inside a DIV to display the data.
Second alternative is to create a workflow which runs e.g. once a month / once a day and which loops over all list items, calculate the difference and updates the list item.

Thanks, I got it working, although how do I get the today updating daily?
