Asterisk 13.0.1: SIP Reload error, how do I fix?

Hello Experts,

I just tried to do a sip reload on a new asterisk install (.iso), any ideas how to fix?
Connected to Asterisk 13.0.1 currently running on asterisk (pid = 1835)
asterisk*CLI> sip reload
[2015-01-28 16:18:20] ERROR[1859]: netsock2.c:303 ast_sockaddr_resolve: getaddrinfo("asterisk", "(null)", ...): Name or service not known
[2015-01-28 16:18:20] WARNING[1859]: acl.c:800 resolve_first: Unable to lookup 'asterisk'

you need to check that /etc/hosts has the 127.0.0.1  settings based on what you have used as host names --
