Veeam backup v8 full & incremental backup problem

Dear All


               I have a issue on veeam backup v8, i was trying to setup 1 full & 6 incremental backup, for everyday sat full, and the rest of the days incremental, but i realized it backup as Full everyday (see bottom screenshot, any area i set it wrong ?

Without seeing the actual file names and sizes i.e. The .VRB files do not change, as they contain the .VBK data blocks which were replaced by incremental data for that particular incremental backup run.

sorry i dont quite fully understand the artical, would you mind to explain to me ? are my setting above correct for 1 full backup on sat , and the rest incremental ? synthetic full mean incremental ?


For last night backup i finally see one incremental backup, suppose i will have this incremental for monday - friday & sunday

suppose the rest of the day is incremental , the size will not same as the full backup size, but now the incremental size is like doing full backup everyday, my NAS has limited size only, is that anormal ?
