Its a network adapter issue.. the connectivity has been hampered some how..

these are probable solutions..

1. Clear the JCache(If you are running Jinitiator then JCache will be inside ProgramFiles\JCache
2.Clear the windows temp and pre-fetch files and try relaunching the application..

Thanks for the reply.

@Wasim : After modifying the below listed two components in the application server Issue got resolved.

1. networkRetries parameter value to 30 from 0 -default value.
2. I found the below messages in application.log of server, so disabled the WinHTTP service.

this is what I found log messages:
The WinHTTP Web Proxy Auto-Discovery Service has been idle for 15 minutes, it will be shut down. ID:12503
The WinHTTP Web Proxy Auto-Discovery Service suspended operation. ID: 12517
The WinHTTP Web Proxy Auto-Discovery Service service entered the stopped state. ID: 7036 (Service Control Manager)

Not sure whether this winhttp service were disrupting the connections to the server but after disabling it and setting parameter value no more network error appears

Thanks
