hi, I have a windows 2012 hyper-v setup, running 3 windows 2012 VS's.
I have 2 of the VS's connecting to the internet, yet a 3rd VS cannot ping the router or external IP. All 3 use the same virtual switch and all run on one network cable for the moment.
the 3rd VS can ping other internal IP's, but cannot ping the router. The router is a watchguard XTM-26 and has no limits that i know of.

Is there some thing stupid like a limit of only 2 VS's to the virtual switch ?

No, there are no artificial limits like that. Traditional network troubleshooting applies here. wireshark, any logging you can turn on with physical devices... follow the packets.

HI, we couldn't determining the errors we were getting and diagnose the issue, we ended up deleteing the vhd and rebuilding it. that worked. just under a bit of time pressure.
