Any additional information available in the app log of the local machine? Have you tried repairing local install? Are there PST files associated with this account. What happens if you run a outlook.exe /safe have you recently added any add-in's?

Try disconnecting the PST files, rebuild profile and attempt again. PST files can become corrupt after 3.5Gb in size.
