Dell laptop INP files

Hello,

I have a Dell Inspiron 3737.  On an external drive, I have files with an INP extension.  After doing as much research I can possibly handle, it appears these are backup files Dell Backup and Recovery created, however, I am unable to access them via DBR.  Per http://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/19/SLN129227/EN, I downloaded   the Dell Migration Restore Utility, but it does not see the external drive where the files are located.  i copied the files over to the local drive, but MRU is looking for an external drive only.

Any advise in getting access to these files is greatly appreciated.

Have a great day,

Don

Do you need to restore the files?  If not, ignore this!
This thread suggests you create a new profile in BDR and backup one file.  Then, in explorer, copy the files you want into the folder it created.  Afterwards DBR will recognize the files you copied:
