open app in mobile window

Wonder if someone can help me out with this. Lets say android mobile device. I want to have an app and open any app in my mobile window. what can i do to choose any app in my phone to open but using my app to open it. How can I go about this. where would you start with this scenario?

Using intents even allows your app to start an activity that is contained in a separate app.

An Intent can be explicit in order to start a specific component (a specific Activity instance) or implicit in order to start any component that can handle the intended action (such as "capture a photo").
