WWan problems HP Probook 650

I have a new HP Probook 650 with the WWan option.
I have inserted a sim ward with data enabled and in the Hp Connection Manager I can connect with the 3G network
With IPconfig, I see I get an IP address, gateway, dns. ,….
Although I’m connected I can’t surf on the internet, nor can I ping the DNS.
I have disabled all other lan connections. I tried with another sim card, same result.
Both cards work fine in another laptop.
I’ve tried IE11 and Chrome

I use an external USB card (Nokia CS-18) and it worked / works fine on Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 .

Set up your machine, connect the card, and then do a TCP/IP Reset and DNS Flush.

Open cmd.exe with Run as Administrator
Then  netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt
Also, ipconfig /flushdns followed by net stop dnscache followed by net start dnscache

Restart the compute and test again.

The card is an internal slot in which i insert the sim card
Yes I know. So try my steps and the TCP/IP reset
This did not solve my problem
I have a new HP Probook 650 with the WWan option

1. Is this Windows 8.1?
2. Remove the card and run System File Checker. Open cmd.exe with Run as Administrator and run SFC /SCANNOW twice and allow to complete. Shut down, insert the card, startup and test.

2. Since the card works in other machines, it would appear to be an operating system issue on the problem computer.

3. If no luck with SFC AND if Windows 8.1, run DISM (card removed):

Open cmd.exe with Run as Administrator.
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /Scanhealth (takes 15 - 20 minutes).
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /Restorehealth (takes 15 - 20 minutes).
Restart the computer and test.

Insert the card again and test.

4. You may need to call HP Support for warranty assistance.
the issue is not with the laptop, but with the SIM card.

Have you contacted the SIM card's company that you are using?  While you can take a SIM card from your phone and insert it into another phone without any issues, broadband cell network adapters are different and need to be activated.  you're able to view 3G networks and connect, but you're not activated to connect to data.

if you've ever turned on a phone that didn't have a SIM card inserted, you'll notice that it can still make emergency calls, even though you can't use the phone to make regular calls.  a laptop can't support a cell phone number or handle voice calling, so it has to register on the network differently, which means you have to contact the SIM card's company.  You might have to get a data-only SIM card, or install a program onto your laptop that lets you sign onto the cell network.
According to the first post, the SIM card works on other laptops.
if the SIM card was activated on the first laptop, then it needs to be activated on the new laptop.  Since the author is getting an IP address, the SIM card company can better troubleshoot the author's issue by tracing the traffic to it, and provide alternate configurations.
