Google Chrome Update Alerts ?

Is there some way to receive an email alert from Google when there are updates released for the Google Chrome web browser ?  I know Google Chrome is supposed to or is expected to update itself automatically, but at a certain site updates still need to be logged and tracked in terms of dates and frequency.  TIA ...

I have not heard anything like that.  Google is arrogant enough to think that every update is perfect that users don't need to know when they are modifying your system.  Probably the closest you will get is to have some kind of monitoring, that occasionally checks for a change in the timestamp and write a log entry.

Okay, thanks.  I thought that Adobe had an alert system similar to that and was hoping that Google did as well ...
