Software photocopier for Mac OS X?
I'm looking for some (preferably freeware) software for Mac OS X which will scan one or more pages from a scanner, and then immediately print them to a printer. Like a photocopier, but where the scanner and printer are separate pieces of hardware.
Any ideas, please?

What sort of scanner do you have? I've seen some manufacturers include that sort of software with the purchase of the scanner.

It's an Epson, and you're right - they did include suitable software with their pre- Mavericks/Yosemite compatible drivers. The Yosemite-compatible driver works fine for scanning, but they don't supply a photocopier app with it. And the app bundled with previous versions of the driver doesn't work - I checked! Hence the need for a third-party app.
Then there may not be a solution for you as the printer is not suitable?

Thanks Merete. It should be possible for an app to do this, because the TWAIN driver for the scanner is working, so any app can hook into the standard API and scan. Plus the printer driver is working, so likewise any app can print.
So I remain hopeful!

Merete's solution looked as if it'd work, but it isn't freeware, as I was hoping for. I found an Epson utility which does the job, and is free to download.
