How do I get Outlook 2010 to send as a shared mailbox without having to select it FROM

Hi,

We have a few people that use Outlook 2010 with multiple shared mailboxes, they use to be able to go the shared mailbox and click "New" message and they message was sent as the shared mailbox. For some reason now they have to select the FROM the mailbox that they want to send the message FROM.

Anyone run into something like this and can please help to fix it?

In Outlook 2010 you can have access to multiple mailboxes within one Outlook profile. You need to add the mailbox using File>Add Account when you are in Outlook (this setup is only available in Outlook 2010 and up). Once you have added your shared mailboxes this way they will be represented as individual accounts.

If you add the mailboxes the conventional way like...
-  File, Account Settings
- Change Settings, More Settings
- Advance Tab
- Add Shared Mailbox

This only opens the shared mailbox but it is not managed independently within the Outlook profile. This is why you need to click the From button every time.

Will.
