IIS ASP issue

Server 2012 IIS 8.  We have an existing internal site, but wanted to install wordpress for something else.  After installing web platform installer and the prerequisites for Wordpress, our internal website now has an error.  


Error Code
   0x800700b7

Config Error
   Cannot add duplicate collection entry of type 'add' with unique key attribute 'value' set to 'index.php'

is there a .htaccess file that was added at the root of the site?

look at the iis error logs to see where the file ...

along the same lines look at web.config, it looks as though when wordpress was installed, it added the document search/index to try it added index.php which is aleady there.

I resolved it.  The installation of one of the prerequisites installed a duplicate default index.asp file.
