I have about 5 mailboxes I need to migration between exchange forest. We have a two trust between our AD and the client AD. I would like to migrate 5 exchange mailboxes from the client exchange forest to our exchange forest. I would like to do this natively without 3rd party apps. Any help would be great, I'm sure this will need to done in EMS but not sure how to do it cross forest, I only know local move request. Any help would be great.

No third party utilities, you sure ? :)

This can be a bit of a .. pain, but this is a good reference to start with: http://blogs.technet.com/b/exchange/archive/2010/08/10/3410619.aspx

Read this through, and let me know if you have any questions. I have done this before on a larger scale but if I recall correct you need something to sync the attributes (e.g: ILM, FIM, ect) to actually complete this. You can probably get away with ADMT and the scripts (prepare-moverequest) but I would have to look into it.

The other option (depending on if you want to keep NTLM permissions and group access) is to recreate the AD user object, recreate the mailbox and then export / import. I know there will be some issues (like replying to some older emails, it might look for the X400 record) but it is a LOT less painful and easier than the article above.
