ProCurve switches: Can they monitor if a mac address changes on a port

For our IT audit, we were asked if we are able to detect if someone brought in a network device and placed it on our network. It was suggested to have our switches monitor and alert us if a user unplugged his PC from the network port, and plugged in his own Linksys wifi router for example.

Can ProCurve switches monitor for mac changes on the network ports?
