Copy web project on the server

Hi Experts,

I want to copy my web project into the web server. I want to know which location do I need to copy the files. Also do I have to install visual studio in the server.

You do not have to install Visual Studio on the server.  Everything is dependent on the IIS configuration of your server and the requirements/dependencies of your web project.

I have done a test web site on my local computer with only one .aspx file. Can u please provide me the steps how to move this to the server.
