SQL Server Integration Services FTP task not working

I'm trying to insert a FTP task running in SSIS (2012).  I'm able to get the ftp connection to work (Hit test connection and it comes back success); however, when I try to run the task (from SSDT/BIDS/Visual Studio--I'm just clicking F5), it sits and spins for about 10 minutes and then fails.  The weird thing about this is if I go to the destination folder (on a different server) I can actually see the file come into the directory, but after about 10 seconds, it disappears.  I'm thinking a security issue, but I can take the FTP account that I'm using for the SSIS FTP task and using an ftp client (FileZilla) I'm able to upload/download anything I want.

Both systems (host and destination server) are running WIndows Server 2012.

Any Suggestions?

Does Filezilla work if you use the same destination folder that is failing in your SSIS task?

I've had similar issues, especially to deep paths on network shares. I'd get the first 600k of the file then it would get killed.

ASKER

I'm using FTP isolation and this account that I've got set up only allows access to one folder.  With this in mind, my path is just / (FTP root directory for that user).   Filezilla doesn't have any problems whatsoever-- everything sends/receives like it should when I use the SSIS FTP credentials.
