OAB Exchange 2010
I had an issue with File Replication Service on my domains which has been resolved but it appears to have had effected the OAB on the exchange 2010 serve as it has not updated in months.
I have run through the 9 steps on the article below but I can’t get clients to download the offline address book anymore.
https://www.experts-exchange.com/Software/Server_Software/Email_Servers/Exchange/A_5064-9-Steps-to-end-OAB-nightmares.html
On the outlook clients I get error 0x80190194 when trying to download the address book.
We have just the single standalone exchange server in multi-site environment with 2003 and 2008 DC’s.
I get the errors on the server below:
OABGen encountered file error ffffffff (internal ID 5050237) while generating the offline address list for address list '\Global Address List'. Make sure there is enough disk space available.
- \Default Address Book
OALGen skipped some entries in the offline address list '\Global Address List'. To see which entries are affected, event logging for the OAL Generator must be set to at least medium.
- \Default Address Book
OABGen detected that the file '\\EXCH10\ExchangeOAB\db5c 3dcf-02d6- 48b9-8ea2- 8ae210d69b 04\2d88bf9 2-719c-4dc e-8af6-f60 c86827c3a- binpatch-1 1.lzx' is corrupted or missing. This indicates data tampering or disk problems. Restore files in this folder from the recent backup or clean up folder content and force a full OAB generation.
