asked on

teh fonts in Chrome browser are blurry

A friend asked me to fix his Chrome browser complaining that the fonts are blurry. I researched and   found out that after the update 37 that issue happened a lot. I found 3 different fixes on line.

I deleted and reinstalled Chrome Browser, I used two different parameters, I changed the DPI from 125 to 100...nothing tha fonts still look blurry. He is using Vista.

How can I solve this problem ?  I am running out of options ....:(

Thank you

Try native screen resolution (Control Panel, Display) and use 100% scaling. Blurry fonts normally occurs because of non-native screen resolution.

If already native resolution and If already 100%, download the same or newer video driver and reinstall the video and chipset drivers.

What is a native resolution and how can I find it out ? how can I verify if it is already set for native resolution ?

Thanks,
Look under Screen Resolution settings for "Recommended" and set to that.
I am stuck, I tried every possible solution I found on line. Chrome doesn't improve the blurriness.

What should I do to fix this ? I also attempt to restore but there is no restore point created in this Vista computer :(
