I am looking for an app to record videos from different websites such as face book etc. easy to use app. I have a paid version of real player downloader plus for my windows 7 desktop and I am very happy with it. I have downloaded the real player app on my galaxy note 3 but it does not work on the phone  for some reason. Meaning the recording download button does not come up when there is a video to see.  Thank you

Actually, in most situation, you don't need any app at all. Just use the Opera Mobile browser, while watching a video, it should jump to full screen, with a black/white themed lower progress bar. Next to the progress, time, ends to the right with an arrow icon and a fullscreen toggle. The Arrow icon is the one that will automatically download the video in your default download folder.
(Tested with most newer Samsung Galaxy series)

Other methods:
mainly for Youtube, but most other apps that have a Share button optioin: inside the Youtube app, use the Share button, Share to SemperVidlinks (Free!), when it's opened, click the Arrow button, click ES Downloader (requires ES Explorer to be installed). This Youtube video is of higher quality than the one in the previous method.

These all depends on the site using mobile browser friendly windows/video format (mp4), which actually, are now almost all sites (including vimeo, facebook, vine etc).

Conclusion: Go to the Play Store, install Opera Mobile (not Mini), ES Explorer, SemperVidLinks free.

Opera Mobile is just another browser. It just works. You don't need to know the ins and outs of the app, just that you can browse the internet the same way as any browser. Just continue using Chrome for whatever you need to. Whenever you think about downloading the video, just use Opera. After that, continue with Chrome as usual.
It's so simple, why would you ever want to install shady 3rd party apps that might or might not work, and might or might not be adware.
