Hi Guys
What is the best Microsoft of vendor package to help with the below task please?

Single Domain, Single Forest, Single Site

Current - 1 x Exchange 2003, 2 x Server 2003 Domain Controllers' (Approx 500 mailboxes)

Objective - 5 x Exchange 2010 (2 x MB, 2 x CAS) farm, 2 x Windows Server 2012

I have looked at Quest Migration Management Tools but that is best suited for Cross-Forest/Domain migrations
Ideally need Microsoft Toolset really

Hi CTCRM,

If you are doing this all within a single domain, you can use built in Exchange and Powershell scripts.

There is no need to pay out for a service which is quite easily done in house... I would familiarise yourself with this tech article: "https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998186(v=exchg.141).aspx" which explains managing a CO-Existence EX2003/2010 environment while you migrate.

Install the 2012 Servers, DC promo, move any roles, i.e. DHCP, DNS, WINS etc so your 2003 servers essentially become supporting DC's.

Install your EX 2010 Env. configure and migrate users using the New-MoveRequest  shell command.

There are a huge amount of resources out there to help with this and is actually very simple...

If you need any support at all, we are always here... ;-)

Update: Gave correct URL for Co-Existence - I gave the Exchange Online Hybrid by mistake :-p
