Hi All,

Hope everyone is well?

I have a small problem with Dial Peers on Cisco Call Manager Express which i hope somebody could help with?

Currently we have a simple Dial Peer Setup as follows:-

dial-peer voice 21 pots
 description ** Outbound Calls **
 translation-profile outgoing OutgoingDID
 destination-pattern 9T
 direct-inward-dial
 port 0/0/0:15

This works fine for all calls. We now want to lock down some of the phones to disallow international call. We are going to do this using COR.

I have setup some new Dial Peers (Were based in the UAE):-

dial-peer voice 21 pots
description ** Outbound Emergancy Calls **
 destination-pattern 9...
 translation-profile outgoing OutgoingDID
 direct-inward-dial
 port 0/0/0:15
!
dial-peer voice 22 pots
 description ** Outbound Local **
 destination-pattern 90[2-8][0-9][1-9]....
 translation-profile outgoing OutgoingDID
 direct-inward-dial
 port 0/0/0:15
!
dial-peer voice 23 pots
 description ** Outbound Mobile **
 destination-pattern 905........
 translation-profile outgoing OutgoingDID
 direct-inward-dial
 port 0/0/0:15
!
dial-peer voice 24 pots
 description ** Outbound National **
 destination-pattern 90[234679].......
 translation-profile outgoing OutgoingDID
 direct-inward-dial
 port 0/0/0:15
!
dial-peer voice 25 pots
 description ** Outbound International **
 destination-pattern 900T
 translation-profile outgoing OutgoingDID
 direct-inward-dial
 port 0/0/0:15
!
dial-peer voice 26 pots
 description ** Outbound 600 Calls **
 destination-pattern 9600T
 translation-profile outgoing OutgoingDID
 direct-inward-dial
 port 0/0/0:15
!
dial-peer voice 27 pots
 description ** Outbound 800 Calls **
 destination-pattern 9800T
 translation-profile outgoing OutgoingDID
 direct-inward-dial
 port 0/0/0:15
!

!

My problem is when we add these and try and dial only the first 4 diagits dial.

For example is if i dial:-

9,0501234567 it only dials 9050
9,024101234 it only dials 9020

Could anybody tell me where im going wrong or point me in the right direction?

For information UAE Dial Codes are set as follows:-

01 xxx xxxx to 04 xxx xxxx
05 xxx xxxx
06 xxx xxxx to 09 xxx xxxx
600 xxxx
600 xxx xxxx
800 xxxx
800 xxx xxxx
900 xxxx
900 xxx xxxx

And then all International calls are 00 x

Cheers
TME

 prefix 05
!
dial-peer voice 24 pots
 description ** National Calls **
 translation-profile outgoing OutgoingDID
 destination-pattern 90[234679].......
 direct-inward-dial

dial-peer voice 25 pots

!
dial-peer voice 27 pots

Issue is now resolved. I have awarded point to irmoore as he pointed me in the right direction.

Cheers
