Using Bluetooth keyboard with my laptop - are they compatible

Can I use a rather cheap bluetooth keyboard which works  with a Tablet, with my Dell Inspiron  15 3000-series laptop (Windows 8.1) ? What must I look at?

Hi,

This product should cover your bluetooth keyboard needs with your laptop.

Also, you might want to look at your Dell Inspiron 15 3000-series laptop to ensure it has bluetooth capabilities.  If you go to Device Manager on Windows, a 'Bluetooth' driver should be listed there.  If it has bluetooth capabilities you should just need to put both devices in discovery mode to pair them.  Sometimes your bluetooth software is already running simultaneously with your wifi.  Check to see if there is a bluetooth icon in your taskbar.
