Vcenter - machine showing (inaccessible)

Hi,

I shut down a VMware machine in Windows and then it nows shows in Vcenter as  Server Name (inaccessible)

Any ideas ?

Is the datastore still visible , that the VM is stored on ?

Yes, can see that, I know we did have this issue before and i just needed to reconnect the VM to store but i cant remember how to do it

Remove from the Inventory.

1. Browse the datastore on the working host.

2. Browse the VM Folder.

3. Right Click the VMX file, and Click Register with Inventory.

4. Power on the VMs.

Hi,

It worked perfect for 1 VM but not for the other, on the one it didnt work on it said not found but you can see it and content on the datastore.

is it missing a file descriptor ?
