Do they provide Linux as well as Windows.   Do they have a good share of the market

Yes, Google does provision IaaS. Check this link for more information https://cloud.google.com/compute/
They also have a link on that page for a free trial. They provided both Debian, Windows, or other standard iamges you can launch and configure
