Here is a laptop that is being suggested by our IT Admin to purchase.
While we have a recommendation to purchase several of these laptops for field use, is there another laptop out there that has more RAM and a better processor for office productivity use only?  Or does a laptop of this caliber suit office use?  Our use is mainly office apps and storing a some documents and web surfing.

For your simple requirements that laptop is overkill! If you can find something that is cheaper, get that cheaper product. Otherwise this laptop suits you perfectly.
