Cisco IOS DNS configuration

HI

I configured my Cisco switches/routers as DNS clients.

Ip domain-name  test.com
Ip domain-lookup source-interface vlan 10
Ip name-server 192.168.0.5

My question is how I can automatically register my switches/routers with our DNS server. When I create A/PTR record manually it works 100% but is there a way to do it automatically as I have +- 600 devices.

I haven't seen a way to do that unless you could leverage a tcl script to pull data from the switch and then use a powershell script to update DNS.
