Apache question

when i type the URL i am getting index.php page loaded.

I have to type http://ip-address/index.html to go to the main page every time

what i need to change in Apache configuration to get this working.

Currently i noticed my setting as follows

#DirectoryIndex index.html index.htm index.php
DirectoryIndex index.html

That should use 'index.html' as the default page instead of 'index.php'.  Have you restarted Apache since you made that change?  Apache only reads the configuration once when it starts.  In general, I suggest you only have one 'index' page in a directory.  Use a different name for the other files.
