search Attachments Send items Exchange 2010 SP3 Roll 7 (SBS2011)

Hallo,

We have an customer who wants to know if an specific file (xxx.pdf) was send by e-mail.
We don't know the sender and reciever.
It was send this last two weeks.

Is it posible to search the send items of all the mailboxes on the server?

What will the syntacs then be?

Try this

Get-Mailbox -ResultSize Unlimited | Search-Mailbox -SearchQuery 'attachment:"<filename>.pdf"' -TargetMailbox <Your Mailbox> -TargetFolder <A folder in your mailbox i.e "Found">


This will search all mailboxes and send a copy of anything found into your own mailbox under the folder you specify. It will create the destination folder so you don't need to pre-create it.
